ITINERARY OF PROGRAM
Start your day with a satisfying breakfast at your hotel in Marrakech or nearby Ouirgane. Mules and a guide will be ready to accompany you on your full-day hike through diverse landscapes.
Take a break and enjoy a scenic picnic lunch before continuing your journey to Assif-Izgzaoun, located at an elevation of 1900m.
Spend the night in a comfortable and welcoming local family home, with dinner and breakfast included.
Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before embarking on your journey from Assif Izagzaoun to Tizgui (1900m). Climb to the summit of Mt. Assaka (2200m) and then descend into the Goudafa (Tizgui) valley. Enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch along the way.
Spend the night in a local home and enjoy dinner and breakfast as part of the half-board accommodation.
Today, you will journey from Tizgui to Tizi Oussem, making your way over the Tougdalt pass (2800m), also known as the “Mount of Winds”. Your path takes you through a stunning forest of junipers, where you may encounter nomads who have temporarily left their families to care for their animals during the summer months.
You will spend the night in a gite in Tizi Oussem.
Start your day with a delicious Berber breakfast featuring local bread and olive oil. Then, visit the Tamsoult waterfalls and enjoy a picnic lunch there. Afterward, travel to the Azzaden Valley, also known as the “Valley of 1000 Colors.”
Walk through fragrant juniper forests to Tizi Mzik (1889m) before reaching your final destination in Imlil.
Note: This trek can also be done in reverse, starting in Imlil and ending in Ouirgane.
